Alphabets
Cross stitch alphabets give a personal touch to your design projects. These alphabets here are free to print and sew, and each one provides a different solution for your project. Our cross stitch alphabets vary in size with the most basic using backstitch, and with the rest using full stitches only.
Cross Stitch Bookmarks
Cross stitch bookmarks are quick and easy projects you’ll enjoy making. Designs typically come in simple colours and shapes that are satisfying to finish, and make great tasks for beginners just learning how to cross stitch. Our bookmarks come in a range of types and are low cost projects that make great gifts for friends and family.
Cards
Cross stitch cards are small designs to fit into aperture cards. They have two folds and three sides with one flap having an aperture shape cut out of the middle. Charts are typically simple and easy to complete enabling you to make a personal gift for friends and family.
Children's Cross Stitch
Childrens cross stitch patterns are charts designed to appeal to children. Each of our designs are based on a particular theme or were created for a particular age group. Sewing children's patterns is very appealing and most of our charts are quick and easy to sew.
Cross Stitch Flowers
Cross stitch flowers are patterns that are designed on a flower theme. With their varied colours and often bright tones flowers are ideal subjects for cross stitch projects. Our flower charts vary in size, are easy to sew, and can be used for a range of different types of designs.
Fun Patterns
Our elephant cross stitch is a fun character carrying a huge present. The charming elephant has a look of panic as he struggles to rest the gift between his front paws and a fully extended trunk. The character is animated but still has a realistic clumsy elephant shape.
Cross Stitch Patterns
By cross stitch patterns we mean similar motif shapes that repeat throughout a design. For example, our borders use a simple design that repeats building into a larger project, and our blackwork charts use backstitch patterns to fill in areas of detail that would normally be coloured.
Cross Stitch Samplers
Traditionally 'Samplers' were sewn to develop and display a range of stitches, patterns and techniques. Cross stitch samplers have a slightly different meaning as we use them in this section to mean 'designs with a purpose'. Here we provide a set of free designs, each on a particular theme or providing a solution to a project need.
